The beginning of Mr. Johnson’s career was actually with Scholl & Johnson, Manufacturing Machinists.  Mr. Johnson purchased his partners share of the company to begin Victor Talking Machine Company.

The company faltered in the 1920’s at which time it was acquired by Radio Corporation of American in 1929 to become RCA Victor.  Nipper the dog (and logo for the company) came along with the purchase.

Group tours and other interpretive programs take place throughout normal operating hours.  If you are coming with a large group please make reservations in advance.
